I wasn’t really able to stop and smell the kids until after I became a SAHM and had been one for AWHILE.

One day I woke up and saw that my baby boy was a freakin’ DUDE. I realized that I have to really stop and spend time with both of my kids because they are going to change in a heartbeat.

I completely agree. The best thing I could ever have done to calm my Type A butt down was have children. They teach to live in the moment the way no Zen master ever can.

Very true. It’s something I’ve got to keep telling myself as I’m always pushing to do more and more things. It’s so important to just sit down and play and listen whenever you get the chance, because those chances get fewer and fewer the older both of us gets.

Now, if I could just use my drive to invent that time machine…
